This game, a fusion of warriors from Dynasty Warriors, as well as Samurai Warriors 1 & 2, is a good choice for fans of those series, who are on the go.
Pros: The gameplay moves mostly flawlessly, a welcome switch from the Dynasty Warriors games for the PSP, requiring you to move from battlefield to battlefield.
The characters move pretty accurately, and it is engrossing play for fans of the series.
The Weapon Fusion system is a fun thing, namely because you can get a weapon you like, and upgrade it to make it completely dominating.
Cons: The difficulty curve of this game is steep, indeed. Even for seasoned veterans of this game, you WILL lose at least one or two battles, simply because your commander's AI will run willingly into the biggest mass of enemies. And when you're on the other end of the map, it is not a pretty sight.
The weapons are back to being acquired from enemies, and that is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get tedious.
Overall, a really good game. This game will probably be purchased by myself, very soon. If you are a fan of the series, give it a try. If you are not a fan of the DW or SW series, then give this one a pass.
