WO3 Hyper Review

This addition to the series was great, with so many characters to unlock and play as contributing to high reply value.

The AI in this game from the rest of the series also has been uped quite alot so much so I died a few times while playing the game's story mode.

The Wii U version also includes the exclusive Duel Mode a throw back to the series origins on the PSone wit Dynasty Warriers. Turning the game to a 3D Three Way Tag Battle with all the characters in the game plus being able to select four assist character cards creating limitless possiblities.

The only down side was the removal of custom characters that Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors include, but with an array of over 100 playable characters it isn't missed much.

Very Good

Historically Inaccurate, Bodaciously Enjoyable

While the warriors of the game existed in completely different time periods, we see their videogame counterparts from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors working together to change time and prevent a monstrous serpent from eradicating all human life. Like the previous entries and the two franchises this game crosses over, you have to complete missions and take out enemy officers while defeating entire hordes of enemies as a single warrior. Unlike previous entries, the crossover does not end at Dynasty and Samurai, the heroes of other Koei and Tecmo games such as Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive to name a few join in the fight for humanity, though the focus is not heavy on them but is a good reason to play this game. Not only that, but the multiplayer Duel Mode is worth trying out, especially with a friend, and the ability to customize stages to create your own is great for the game designers of the future and those who enjoy stretching their imagination. However, none of that matters if you're not into hack-and-slash style beat-em-ups. But all in all, I highly recommend it.

P.S. Sorry for the lame 80s slang in the title, was the only clever thing I could come up with.
