I thought I would give this a try but if you played part 1 or any Dynasty series games.....you have already played this game.

Exact same characters......exact same moves......same bad camera.......same no Mushu fill........same button masher......not worth your time.

You heard it, people. This game is /exactly the same/ as Warriors Orochi. Which is, of course, exactly the same as every other Warriors game Koei has ever released, but considering I own at least 6 of them on various media, I'm hardly one to complain about sameness.

No, the big distinction here is that not only is it exactly the same, it's also patently /worse/. How might that be, you ask?

Bullet time.

This isn't a feature you missed about this game, it's not a quality that's printed on the box or featured in the manual. This game has Bullet Time, and it happens approximately /ever single time/ you see "lots of dudes" on the screen.

For those of you paying attention, "Lots of dudes" is pretty much the Warrior's series only game play mechanic.

The game bogs down like some sort of hyper-generating peat often, frequently, and constantly. I'm aware that slow-down and frame-rate issues aren't exactly a /new thing/ in the Warriors games, but this game has just too much to contend with, ESPECIALLY for being on the xbox 360. You know what game DIDN'T have any slow-down? Warriors Orochi. On the /PS2/.

Skip this one. It sucks.

Tried Too Hard

I had high expectations for this game. I loved ALL of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors so when I heard about this game, I thought "This is going to be amazing!" To my dis concern, I was sadly mistaken.
From my opinion, I think Koei tried WAY TOO HARD on this game than they should have. The game was a good mix of the 2 story lines except for the fact that there is WAY too many characters to keep up with! There were so many names on my screen that I had to double take cause the names were not even original anymore. And not only that, but even the simpliest enemies too long to kill. That means the officers took AT LEAST 2-3 minutes of straight attacking to kill ONE OFFICER. But don't worry, cause even if they do manage to hit you, it wont even effect you cause your health seems to NEVER GO DOWN and your Musou NEVER SEEMS TO CHARGE ITSELF!
I am hugely disappointed with this game although, I believe it will only effect this "Warriors" series. I am willing to bet that the next Samurai Warriors or Dynasty Warriors game is going to be their next big game. Although this game was a major disappointment, I am not willing to bet that it will effect either game as individuals.

In conclusion, save your time and money with this game and don't bother renting or buying it. Rather, put it towards the next Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors game instead. Thats where my money is.
