I am a big fan of the franchise. Since I play both Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, it was awesome for me to see warriors of both games meet each other and battle together. The game provides a good story and a challeging gameplay. The new Dream Mode gives players more challenges to conquer. I also like how you can be 3 warriors at the same time instead of just 1 throughout a battle. I played and will keep on playing these series. Fan of the series will not be dissappointed.

I have played ever Warriors game to date and when they came out with the new Orochi 2 i was pretty happy, the only drawbacks that really followed from the first one were the non orginal voice cast and the lag. It was very fun and boring because i would be getting ready to quit when i got a new character or level, i just didnt want to stop. If you love hack n slash games i suggest this and remeber to watch out later this year for Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires!

Ive been a fan of the series since I first played the DW3 demo back in 2001, and have played all the games from then till now. Now onto the game.

I just finished this game completely. The game continues from the original Warriors Orochi. The new characters are a nice addition to the game. The story is ok. To correct a previous reviewer, you dont start with a horse, once you get the ability and you equip it you get a horse, the higher the level of it, the faster the horse. Also, when there are a lot of characters onscreen it does slowdown, when I first got the game back in sept, I was playing Shu story mode and the last battle was running at like 10fps at some parts, they released a patch afterwards making it run a lot better.

Dream mode is also a nice addition, if you are looking to finish every one of them you will have to put in a lot of hours just to unlock them all. 3 vs 3 survival mode is fun to, its kinda like Marvel Vs Capcom 2.

Overall this game is like the original, only more to do, if you liked the original, check this one out.
