Dont get me wrong this games concept is pretty amazing and the cardgame itself flows pretty easily, but for those of us who needs action this is a rent at most.
If you like card games like yu-gi-oh and magic:the gathering then this game will probably float your boat, but still id just rent it to make sure then buy...
I hate writing short reviews like this but there isnt much more to say, gooday to everyone and enjoy this game, but hey it can also be a great stocking stuffer for that game at the office you dont really like...hehe
This game reminds me of Magic The Gathering card game. Creating a deck and dueling is fun, but you really have to spend some time with it to get the hang of the rules.
On the positive side: 1. Building a deck is easy enough 2. There are many strategies to try 3. The Computer plays well
On the negative side: 4. Steep learning curve (search for sabertoothgames for rule info) 5. Poor tutorial (you really just have to try stuff 6. I bought the same booster like 5 times and didnt get many different cards.
That said, I did have fun and ended up keeping the game. There is room for improvement, but its fun and has good replay value.
now a I rarely give games any thing lower then a two with the exspeption of games workshop based games. know by games workshop based I mean warhammer and warhammer 40,000. mainly because I play the table top game equivelint to them. Now on to the revew this game just does not have the warhammer vibe to it I does not fell dark and it is a card game. now there one with on playing the origenel table top wargame, but to stoop so low as a to make a game out of the very inferer card game. I mean it does not even have a warhammer based story line. O and the story line just sucks some thing about power crystals and the high elves and dark elves and for some reson the orcs have some thing to do with it. just bad I give warhammer battle for Atluma a 1 out of 10 and if you by it your part of the problem.
