If you are a fan of ether Warhammer or turn based strategy games get this game... now, stop reading and get it.
Now for the rest of you. If you have never heard of or played a Warhammer or a turn based strategy game you may want to read on. This is not a shooter in the traditional sence, its not realy an action game as sorts. Your in charge of a small squad of guys, six to be exact, that don't go up levels and change from map to map. So dont get to attached to them. The second thing you should know is that its turn based, wich means that combat is broken down into, I move a guy or several guys, then I stop to think, shoot, think, then move again. Then its the bad guys turn to move and shoot, and once all of his action points (AP) are used its my turn. Thats the jist of it, Give it a shot, I'm not going to garantee that you love it, but this is the cream of the crop for those of you who have never played this type of game and want to form an opinion.
They do an absolutly remarkable job of simplifying the chance to hit, field of fire, and overwatch systems. I actualy find myself glad to fail a mission so that I can requip my boys and get more play time before the unavaiodable conclution to the game. The only problem I had with this game is that it is finite. I can only pray that they make this into a very long series, so that I can emerse myself into its vast pool of bulky armor, plasma weapons, and bad-assary.
