I rented this as I'm a big fan of Wallace & Gromit. The visuals are very good, the game has a real claymation appearance and the textures are very smooth. We get reintroduced to the villain from The Wrong Trousers, Feathers McGraw, who has taken over the zoo where he was imprisoned. The game was very cute as I had expected, with some silly concepts (like the turnip gun) that made it amusingly enjoyable.
However, the camera controls are annoying and often cause you to fall off of things or misjudge distances. Also, on the higher levels the tasks can get frustrating instead of challenging - especially on the last level. This game is rated E, but I would probably rate it E10+ for the difficulty of some tasks and also the sound Gromit makes when injured (a dog's yelp that is pretty convincing) might upset small children. It's worth getting for the visuals and if you like W&G, but some of the gameplay falls short.
