I purchased this game and am really regretting buying it at $60. Alot of people complain about the new control system which i agree is a bit of a pain at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. The reason for this review is yet again the only problems with tis game are cause by THQ. One issue is with the new physics system itself, i've had multiple problems with this such as: opponent going under the ring, weapons dissapearing randomly, unable to grab other weapons ( mostly in Extreme rules), and few other issues with broken/buckled tables and ladders just spazzing out. Another issue i am having is with the custom entrance music, if you choose to use music saved on your console (PS3 for me not sure on 360) sometimes during your match your entrance song will just keep looping over and over and over... One issue i'm really getting annoyed by is the new grappling set-up. i cannot express how much hate i have for the fact that you only get to pick 4 groggy moves that actually do something. Meanwhile you get stuck with hardly any useful chain grapple moves which are way to easy to counter.
On the other hand there are a few things that i do love about this year than the others. First the physics system even though there are still bugs with it i love being able to actually use tables the way i want to. TLC matches are truely destructive this year, although the new fighting method on the ladder does make things a bit to easy to knock your opponent off, doing a Rock Bottom off the ladder through two tables makes it all okay. Create a finisher is a bit hit and miss for me, even though corner finishers are pretty cool it seems like they just through in the SVR2010 Standing and Diving finishers without any improvements. WWE universe is pretty basic i like the features it does offer but something seems a miss for me i hope they keep it next year and just add more random events to it.
All-in-all this game is decent but i wouldn't recommend buying it a it's current price
