Good but...

The latest installment in the Smackdown vs. Raw series, 2007, offered many changes. With the addition of Money in the Bank match, expanded GM mode, and a new control system, SVR2007 offers repeatitive gameplay that'll have you reaching for the charger more often than you think. Within the roster you have wrestlers as Triple H, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, and ex-ECW Kurt Angle. But for every Batista, there's a Gene Snitsky and Daivari lying in the wait. The Create a Wrestler makes up for it but compared to the originals, there are less options available and the combination of CAW points and the GM mode was a big negative. The season mode was also a slight improvement, expanding from 1 season to 2 but as far as the storylines, there were a few that just had me skiping ahead. Overall, SVR2007 is a good play for the PSP, allowing for muliple gameplay while you unlock the goodies THQ threw in like secret options, unlimited CAW points, and Legends such as the original Hart Foundation, Mr. Perfect, and Hulk Hogan to name a few. If you are a fan of the series, the WWE, or just looking for a fighter to fill some time, this game is worth a match. My only drawback is that it's counterparts on the PS2 and Xbox360 are much less a strain on the eyes. Enjoy!
