I waited for months to play this game and was dissapointed for several reasons. I had read everywhere that this game was supposed to be much less complicated than smackdown vs raw. I found it to be exactley the same. The problem with these new wrestling games for me is the difficulty to do the simplist thing. Grappling, striking and running are all foreign from the old thq wrestling games i loved for n64. Back when wwf and wcw were rivals, thq put out fun, simple games where moves were possible and reversals weren't a neccessity. These new wwe games are not playable unless you reverse and pounce every second, which to me is more action than wrestling really is. I havent had a ps3 for very long but i wish someone would make a game where the older players like me could play with ease. This game is like playing rock paper scissors over and over. You have to hit buttons faster than the computer to get out of holds, to execute moves and i don't like being told how to play as i play. I couldn't even win an exhibition match on the lowest difficulty. I grew up with wrestling on tv and in games and considering that legends of wrestlemania is supposed to be aimed at older fans, i wanted a game designed for guys that don't play 6 hours a day. I don't want a wrestling game that a have to work and work at, i want a game to put some cool moves out with the buttons and watch them happen on my screen. too bad, i was really looking forward to this one.
