if you are a button smasher/finger banger you will love this game...truly all you have to do is smash buttons and you will win every time. There's truly no technique really involved and it really gets boring after a while, very very repetitive. If you like watching wrastling you might like this game, there's no "overall" ratings so you can beat anyone with anyone. Online play is suspect, but it's a "nba jam" wrastling game...that's really all it is. ENJOY! quick achievement points for anyone who plays it.

FINALLY The WWE has come back..........

FINALLY The WWE has come back to video games! (with an awesome game) I have played every single wrestling game that has ever been made! Some were great and some were a joke! WWE Allstars is way above them all! Granted, the smackdown vs raw games have come a long way and can be a lot of fun.............for a little while anyway, the only thing new about them each year, worth talking about, are the rosters. Which new guys are in it, any legends and new match types? So you pretty much know what you are going to get year to year. (With that said, YES, I still play the SVR game every year!) The new WWE Allstar game is amazing. It is nothing like any other wrestling game before! The roster and the visuals are through the roof! The roster may not be as deep as some games, but, who is on it, makes up for the other 20 jobbers, that I never play with anyway, that come on other games. (except for Jack Swagger and Drew McIntyre. No idea why they are in this game at all!) The arcade style moves and effects are a lot of fun and very exciting at times. A lot more than once, I have caught myself yelling "Oh Wow" (actually they were some other choice bad words that i probably cant say on here anyway) while watching the moves I had just performed on screen. The mini videos of each feud and wrestler are great pieces of history and very fun to relive or for some of you, to watch for the first time.
If for nothing else, anyone that is even the slightest bit a fan of wrestling, needs to play the Fantasy Warfare - Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio match, AMAZING! The crazy flips and dives you can do are insane. That is where most of my "OH WOWS" came from!
Anyway, in my very humble opinion, this wrestling fan is very very impressed, excited and happy that he purchased this game!!!

I enjoyed the fact that we finally got an arcade style wresting game.
Awesome graphics!
Characters are over the top ripped.
Really cool intros to the fanasty warfare matches.
Easy controls
Great roster!
Certainly somethin to build off of.

Lack of decent story mode.
a.i reverses everything.
How did Kofi Kingston make the roster?
Where is Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake?

My son and I had a blast with it!
