Viva Pinata: Party Animals for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This is a decent game, to be honest. Anyone over the age of 12 will probably get bored within the first hour, but really, this game is targeted for kids. The basic idea is that you and up to 3 friends play a variety of different little mini-games to earn points. The whole thing is presented kind of like a game show with announcers and the whole nine yards. You get points for how well you do in each event, and there's a running total to show who has the most points overall.

The mini-games range from simple racing to seeing who can stomp on the most insects or who can blow a sailboat across the water using the power of a soda-fueled belch. It's presented well and the graphics are nice and crisp. It certainly hits the target audience better than the original Viva Pinata which was just a little too hardcore for the youngsters.

Basically, if you are looking for a game your kids can play or something that you could actually play with them, this is a good choice. It's all very simplistic and fairly easy to control and understand. If you are looking for a good party game and most of the players are not hardcore gamers, this might suit your needs as well. Anyone else that doesn't fit those above categories will probably not be very entertained, at least not for very long, by this game.

So, I can't fault the game for not being fun for me because it's not targeted at me, but I also can't really give it high marks because there are other games out there that actually can be fun for all ages. This game just didn't hit that mark. A solid 7 for me.

Viva pinata: Party Animals is sort of like Mario party. It's all mini-games, and the 360 achievements are very easy to unlock. Although, I could not get a game for the online play because there isnt enough people playing online. It's definently worth a rent.
