Considering this is one of the earlier release titles, this game was fun. The best thing about it is the intuitive and easy game play. This allows the casual gamer to start up and enjoy without having to dedicate hours to learn. Overall good game, but not a killer title by any means.
THIS GAME IS SUCH A GREAT TENNIS GAME FOR THE PS3 SYSTEM...THE GRAPHICS ARE SWEET WHEN USED ON HDTV AND THE GAME PLAY IS VERY ACCURATE. THERE ARE INJURIES IF YOU PRACTICE TO MUCH OR TO HARD. YOU START AT THE BOTTOM AND THROUGH DIFFERENT DRILLS LEARN NEW TENNIS SKILLS AND LEVEL UP YOUR PLAYER. IT TOOK ME MY FOURTH YEAR TO BEAT THE GAME AND GET NUMBER 1 IN THE WORLD....AND ALL OF THAT WAS WITH AN EIGHT WEEK INJURY IN YEAR TWO. THERE CAN BE INJURIES SO I RECCOMMEND YOU TRAIN PROPER. ONE FLAW IS THE PLAYERS DO DIVE ALOT. ALL AND ALL THOUGH ITS A GREAT TENNIS GAME. IM NOT SURE IF ITS WORTH BUYING BUT FOR SURE ITS WORTH RENTING.
This was an enjoyable game. Not the best game I've ever played, but easy enough that my kids were able to immediately start playing. Graphics were excellent and the replications of the supposed 4 major tournaments were decent. Career option is a nice feature, realism is a little lacking though. In my first tournament I was able to beat some highly ranked players. Mini-games were pretty enjoyable. My kids loved playing against each other in the various unique games. Good rental, worth buying at a reduced price.
