Viking: Battle for Asgard for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

This game reminded me of a bad, single player, World of Warcraft without all the annoying little kids. I wasn't blown away by any of the graphics and the gameplay is pretty weak. If you like this game at all, stop playing it immediately and buy WoW if you don't already have it, because you will love it. I personally hated WoW so if you weren't into that game, don't give this one a second thought.

This was an entertaining game but the battle controls could have been better and the graphics were a bit simplistic. I suppose they had to skimp on the graphics to accommodate the size of the three continents that are available. This game was much like 'Conan', although the landscape was larger, in the sense that there are button combinations to finish the larger enemies and bosses. Like 'Conan' it seemed a pale attempt to copy 'GOW'. Don't get me wrong, I DID enjoy playing this game. It was just less than the hype and the ease of defeating Hel left an "is that all?" taste in my mouth. It's certainly worth a play just not worth buying.
