Movie Description
Joe is a guy who loves his girlfriend, Sylvia. He idolizes Captain Blue, his favorite movie action hero. He's essentially a normal guy, until one day when something decidedly abnormal happens to him. When he and Silvia go to see a Captain Blue flick, Sylvia gets kidnapped by a movie monster. Joe heads into the movie to save her. He encounters Captain Blue, who's just been beaten by a gang of bad guys known as the Jadow. Captain Blue gives Joe some super powers, and he soon starts flashing all the skills of a silver screen action hero. Viewtiful Joe Vol. 1 contains the first 65 minutes of the broadcast anime series based on the popular Viewtiful Joe video game.
