I was really looking forward to this game, the previews looked good and three was a god vibe out about it. I am happy to say that I did enjoy the game but it was WAY to short.
Graphics were good in this game, nothing ground breaking but what I expect from an average p3 game. I did enjoy the world the game built, this floating spiral city, interesting. The sound track was good as well, it did a good job of keeping pace through out the game, for me anyways. Controls, I felt, were pretty solid, I can't think of any situations in the game where they acted up on me.
The game was played in short segments most were between 4 minutes and 10 minutes. There were 5 or so per chapter making the game only around 5 hours to play through my first time. i enjoyed the weapon level up system, where as if you picked up a duplicate weapon you would refill the ammo, if the ammo is filled the weapon would gain a level. Pretty easy to pick a weapon and just the heck out of it, especially since between chapters you would keep what ever you were holding.
Between skating around in slow motion and diving behind anything you can see you can find some need for strategy in this game. Gun and run will get you killed, in modes other than easy, pretty quickly. The slow motion ability was fun to play with, and saved my butt more than one time. For you casual players they have a easy-auto mode where once you lock onto an enemy and destroy it, it will auto switch to the next closest enemy and repeat till all are dead. This was a neat option and in big battles would really get hectic.
Over all I enjoyed this game but it was just to short. I would say worth a replay but even then not enough to make me purchase the game. Awesome choice to gamefly.
