When we received the game it would not work. This is the second cd that we have received that would not work in the Wii even after we cleaned it. Very frustrating to pay for a monthly fee and the games won't work when we receive them.

This game should not have an E rating, after trying for 3 days to get past the first level, my 6 year old (and me) gave up. It was very frustrating.

Simple tie-in game may amuse kids but isn't great.

With another kid-friendly movie coming out, you can be sure that they'll make a game on the film. Up is not an exceptionally great game, but it may be interesting for fans of the movie, fans of movie-tie in games, platformers or maybe kids who want to see the movie.
The gameplay is too simple if you've ever beaten Lego Star Wars or anything tougher than that. You wander around as an old man who flew off to South America by tying balloons to his house, and you can play as his boy scout assisstant. The controls are simple. In general, the game is average. In the multiplayer you fly a dog in an airplane and are commanded to shoot planes with bad dogs in them and destroy the bad guy's blimp. There's only one attack, but the game can't really sense which button you are pressing so you're just flying around like an idiot. The game is too easy, and the graphics are not great for a Wii game, which makes me so disappointed. (By the way: SEE the movie! The movie is great!)
Use your money to see the movie instead of renting the game and you'll have a much better experience. Up doesn't join my list of Worst Wii Games of 2009, but it does join the list of Wii Games you can Skip.
