Disney - Pixar Up was a rent because I was looking for something that didnt take a lot of mental energy to play and something that I knew without a shadow of a doubt I would have fun at since the movie was awesome. I loved the gameplay, the controls were easy and the graphics were top-notch as they usually are in a Disney Game.
I also liked the game because all of the achievements were either offline or non-multiplayer. I enjoy multiplayer portions of games as much as the next guy...but there is a place and time for it. This game was well thought out and even included concept art and cinematics, all laid out in usual Pixar fashion. If I had to rate everything on this game, I would rate it on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the best:
Graphics: 4.5 - There were times when things were lackluster.
Gameplay: 5.0 - The controls and movement were easy!
Replay: 2.0 - You can usually get everything done in 1 playthrough.
Audio: 5.0 - All character voices were from the Film - well done!
The title says it all. I played the game w/ my 6-year old daughter (who doesn't play many video games) through the first few levels on a Friday afternoon, and then went back later in the weekend to finish the game and clean up the points. The coop mode is nice and forgiving for a non video-game player, and the graphics aren't bad. However, there is really only about one afternoon worth of content in this game, and the replay value (after you've collected everything) isn't really there (unless it keeps your 6 year old happy, but even they lose interest quickly).
