Solid Shooter, Many Flaws.

When i received Unreal Tournament 3 in the mail, i was expecting a First Person shooter, with great graphics and even better game-play. I was right in some aspects, as it is a very good looking game due to the fantastic engine its running on, but the game feels fairly clunky when playing. This was my first game of the Unreal series i have played, and it doesn't do a very good job of re-capping the story. The games weapons are pretty interesting, and cool. You tap the right trigger for a primary fire mode, which is usually fully, or semi-automatic, and you hold the left trigger for a secondary fire effect, which has some neat results. There is no sprint option, so your always walking super fast, and there's no real animations that show your gun moving back and forth, or any indication of movement at all. Its kind of like or gliding really fast across the ground. The AI's are extremely stupid, and have barely any recognition of where you are on the map. You have to charge them. No one is on multi-player anymore, so i didn't get to try it out, but I'm sure its better than the bland story the main game provided me with. Overall, Unreal Tournament 3, for Xbox 360 has great graphics and some cool game-play mechanics, but the story lacks, and the game doesn't introduce new players well to the franchise. 4/10
