Universe at War: Earth Assault for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This was the biggest waste of 3 mins I have ever had to endure in my life. the controls sucked, the graphics were terribad, and that annoying voice...my God. I wish I had the 3 mins of my life that was wasted on this pointless, zero fun game.

The game had a lot of potential but fell short. It suffered from horrible frame rate problems when the large scale battles came into play, which weren't that large, and the amount of units you can have on the field at one time is relatively small. The game also lacks the good control scheme a console RTS needs. I would rip my ears off trying to select the type and amount of units I wanted and would find myself ripping them off half the time. Also, the storyline is a real disappointment, you have three alien races fighting each other on the planet earth, that's fuel for a great story and yet there's no background story on either of these races and no drive to get you into the game. I must admit driving three walkers into the middle of an enemy base is cool ,although you cant tell whats going on half the time because of the frame rate isues, and the resource gathering is cool but it doesn't make up for the the other problems. I would not recommend this title especially from gamefly, its not worth the 5 day wait.
