Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

Really since I bought my PS3 a year ago, month by month I waited for the game to prove my strong belief that it's a machine worth having. Uncharted is the epitome of, not only what a PS3 game, but all games should aspire to achieve, story, voice acting, controls, replay value, this game has it all in spades. Not only do I recomend a rent but if you can afford it, buy it. I'm thinking of clicking the "keep it" button myself. :) PS3 owners the wait for a superior title is over.

What more can I say about this game but wow? I ended up renting this game because of the high review ratings it got from online gaming websites and thank goodness I did. This is the best action/adventure game I have played since Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. The graphics are astonishing, the player models are top notch and perfect, and most importantly, the game play is just perfect. It is not too hard nor too easy and the most surprising part was the story line, which will keep you on the edge of your seat. At many parts, I was hooked in like it was a movie I was watching and that's what makes it so good. The game took about 12 hours to complete and that in itself is also perfect. If it were any longer or shorter, it would make the game seem not as good. You will shoot many weapons including mounted machine guns and you will even ride around in jet ski's. After you finish the game, you will feel like you actually accomplished something because the story line keeps you involved and you feel a sense of being part of the game. This gets a 10/10 from me without a doubt. Too bad this game is running somewhat under the radar compared to other titles out there. It deserves more publicity.
