Uncharted 3 is the best of the series, and well worth $60 (even though I rented it from here). But man, the level of detail that went into everything from the graphics, to the gameplay, to the cut-scenes, the level of immersion, the story, the acting -- wow, this is a AAA game done right.
My gripes are that the shooting is still kind of lackluster -- although improved -- and some of the platforming is unclear or otherwise off. But those are minor in comparison to everything else. Hats off to the game makers.

Unchated A very Great of Action Adventure to buy and rent.. But all of Unchated is 10 out 10 games every play..

One of the best things about this game are the graphics! Everything is extremely detailed and explorable. The story line is awesome also - lots of cinematics between chapters; it's like watching Indiana Jones or National Treasure except you get to take over and control the characters periodically. The graphics are so good I often couldn't tell when the cinematic was over and gameplay began. If you like RPGs this is the game for you. This game also requires some thinking skills as you acquire small pieces and clues that you use to help Drake figure out what to do next. Trust me - after 22 chapters, you'll want to keep going. This is an action adventure that will hook you instantly

When I got the game I didn't play it at first but once I started.. Oh boy Oh boy, was I hooked. The Fast Action Shoot Outs, The Fights, Brain twisting puzzles, and cut Scenes that had me drawn into them like a great Box Office Hit. Uncharted 3 is another PS3 exclusive that makes me happy I have a PS3.
This game was so good that I spent an entire day playing not because I wanted to get my next Game Q game but because the story was just that great. The next thing you know 10 hours had pasted and I was left with nothing but feelings of satisfaction, joy, and an urge to have more Uncharted. Good thing I haven't played the other two yet :D Rent this Game Buy this Game your pick you will not be dissapointed.

(Be warned though multiplayer features won't work unless it's split screen or you play $10 to unlock it)

This game provides an excellent entertainment and indulges you into the character using its mindblowing graphics, background music in each and every instance of the game. The plot of this game has been desgined to perfection with a limited characters where you dont get lost while moving further into this game. Overall I enjoyed playing this game.

SIMPLY THE BEST THERE IS

I could write an entire essay on this game...but I won't. To make it short and to the point: The graphics are the best on consoles these days, simply unbelievable visual presentation. The dialogue and performances by the cast are what take this from the well known "video game" to "VIDEO GAME?!?!?". While I found the macguffin (the artifact or lost city Drake and friends are after) the weakest out of the three games, Uncharted 3 is the embodiment of "the journey is what makes it great" The "bromance" of Sully and Nate is phenomenal and the gameplay/shooting is the tightest and most refined in the series to date. While many will favor Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception is right up there, and in my opinon(as well as IGN's) the greatest PS3 game ever made.

Horrible

Does Not Work

PS3 - 80GB Fat Version (4 USB ports)

I was very excited to receive UC3 as UC2 was one of my favorite games. However, when I got it and tried to play (after 2 patch updates), the game does not work. My first issue was the very first gameplay portion, when as soon as the on-screen prompts came up, I lost my audio. Then, once the official Chapter 1 began, I beat up all the guys only to find myself walking around aimlessly because the kitchen/bathroom scene did not unlock. I was forced to reset and delete my game data several times. I was not even able to restart from checkpoint because all of my options in the pause screen said, "Autosaving, Please wait." After several attempts, all of a sudden everything worked!! I progressed through the game until I learned my first stealth attack, which it then froze. I called it a night and attempted in the morning. Now when I opened the game, I would get through the developer screens and then I would hear the main screen's music but with a black screen. I resetted my PS3 and rebuilt the data via safe mode, and still nothing. I then opened the game with a different username on my PS3 and I got the main screen video and audio! I tried again on my name, still black. I was forced to delete my saved data, and then it worked. I tried starting a new game (for the 25th or so time now) and I got the after-brawl being stuck again after two attempts of watching a spinning ring for 10 minutes. Naughty Dog needs to get their act together and get these problems fixed. I am glad I rented and did not buy. Going back immediately!

I love NaughtyDog, but in recent years they have been letting me down big time. I loved the first Uncharted, was okay with the second, but this third installment totally dropped the ball for me. It has the same gameplay as the first and second installments, just with the limited variety of the second compared to the first one. I loved that in the first you “collected” weapons, not just had two that you could use. The art style has stayed consistent, which started out amazing with Drakes Fortune, but it only average once you get to Drake’s Deception due to advances in technology that NaughtyDog seems to be ignoring.

As for the story line, once again NaughtyDog blows me away. Personally, the story line is what gets me coming back, otherwise I would have said enough after the second installment. Games that have a story line that get you involved with the characters, caring what happens, is the way to go for me. I will admit that I enjoy the run and gun shoots like BF3 online, even if it drives me crazy at times due to incompetent players on my team. As I rented Drake’s Deception from GameFly, I was unable to play online. All though I never tried to play online. So I can’t say anything about that portion of the game.

Great Game but...

I didn't start playing series til uncharted 2, which I fell in love with 10 mins into the game. I have to say uncharted 3 is one of the best game I've played in a long. Graphics are great, the story is even better. I'm thinking about go back to play the first one. The only problem I have with this game is for some reason I couldn't play mutiplayer, it loads about half way then error come up. Seems as if I'm not the only person by many uncharted 3 forums. Other then that, I would've rated it a solid 10.

How can you make a great game better? Naughty Dog figured it out. They took nothing away, added some really cool fighting mechanics and made me sh$t myself the whole game through! I couldn't put it down. Finished in three days. I wasn't able to do that with the last two games. Bravo!

When I first played a uncharted game it was uncharted 2 and I absolutely crazy I thought it was a okay game. Then I got uncharted 3. Off the bat I knew that this game was going to takeover my life,I loved the combat it was sick it was my favorite part of the whole game. I loved Arkham City basically because of counter system and they had that in this game and the reason why I loved the combat was because it felt so real. This is like no other I wish that this game coulhd be played on all system,but overall this game was a fun I loved it no matter what I others enjoyed this game as much as I did. :)

This game has a little bit of it all, and it is very well done at that. At one end it is possibly the best Action/Adventure game on the Ps3....but that's not all it is, it has great puzzle solving aspects as well one the best stories of any games I've played since God of War. A can't miss game that is a Playstation exclusive.

Uncharted 3 isn't as good as Uncharted 2. Even with that being said its still worth playing.

There are some amazing moments that blend cinematic and gameplay.

If you haven't played this series you should check out the other two games first and I'm pretty sure you'll want to play this one after. Its worth renting for sure.

This was a good game, had me on the end of me seat threw the whole game. Yet, it was short, beat the game in 5 hours. It was really good tho. Just wish it was longer, the graphics was good, enjoyed the music. Seemed like a movie!
