Ultimate Spider-Man for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

This is my favorite Spider-Man platforming style game ever. The graphics are beautiful, the story line is very good, and I cannot think of something much more fun than eating humans to regain my health as I did when I played as Venom. The moves available are very useful and well thought out for both of the playable characters (Venom and Spidey). The villians you face (Carnage, Rhino, and a ton of others) offer a good deal of challenge, but more importantly : fun. The game is a little short, it isnt too difficult until the later levels, but overall it was a very good experience. Rent this game now.

this game was way too easy and was not very good at all. i did not like it period.

this game had no plot to it what so ever and im only 11. to start with the game is to short and to easy. u cant even play with carnage. on ly in multi player

I never, ever thought that I wouldn't enjoy playing as Venom. However, the awkward combination of touch screen and button controls is something I just can't get used to. Playing as Spidey himself is OK, but you're tasked with saving people far too often. The genre is called beat-'em-up, not save-'em-up. Check out "Spider Man: Web Of Shadows" on the DS if you're looking for a more straightforward beat-'em-up experience with ol' Webhead. It's pretty difficult, but more enjoyable in my opinion. Add this to your Queue and form your own.
