Above Average

It's a fighting game.

This game I didn't mind too much. It's basically a lot of well known superhero's against a bunch of characters I've never heard of. For a PSP game I found it to be pretty entertaining because I can take it on the go, however I don't know if playing it on Playstation that it would keep my interest. There are certian characters that when you are playing the game can be glitchy. Dr.Doom's back missle attack is the biggest glitch. You just have to shoot the missles the entire game and the other 3 characters will not be able to attack you (lame) other than that the game I found to be very difficult. I can't seem to win unless I go perfect with Dr. Doom, Rocket Racoon and Tron. But overall a pretty good PSP game

Fun to play for a few hours until it gets repetitive or cheesy. Graphics are great and the amount of characters to choose from is crazy. The online took a while to find players. Overall 7/10 not really a game I'd want to buy because once you beat arcade mode a few times it gets boring.

Good

Great for fans, but not for casual fighters

UMVC3 is a good game for people a fan of the series, but for the casual fighter, this game doesn't have much to offer. Offline mode has Arcade, but no VS mode, which doesn't make sense bcos most fighting games have a VS mode. Challenge mode is just techinally a mode where you just try to do combos, which is fine for people who like that sort of thing, but I find it boring. Online is just full of try-hards and no-lifes, so don't waste your time. I like the Heroes and Heralds mode, but the thing is, you can't choose simple mode when choosing your characters, so you have to fight against characters of increasing difficulty without help and you have to try to get 100% of an area to conquer, but if you lose you lose some control of that area. This game is good for fans, but if you don't like this game series or fighting games, this game won't make you a fan. I reccomend Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend instead.
