Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is back in his sequel, Bush Rescue. All the fun is overwhelming after a while. Ty, a Tasmanian tiger, throws boomerangs and talks with an Australian accent (like all of the other characters). Ty can by boomerangs with opals, but they're red and are in crates or underwater. Some of them you need to complete a mission, so sometimes you go on a scavenger hunt to buy a boomerang. then, you're poor, but you don't have to do the missions. You just go exploring, then do the mission. If you get bored of story mode or are stuck on a mission, you don't have to put the game up in a closet and never play it again; there's a Cart Racing function, too. It is similar to Mario Kart: you select a character, a track, and collect multi-color blocks floating in the track to get power-ups or other things to win the race. This does get old after a while, but it's still worth playing.
These are the controls (story mode):
A Button-Jump
B Button-Throw boomerang(s)
Y Button-Select Boomerang
X Button-Bite
Control Stick-Move Ty
The gameplay is very well structured; the time limits aren't too short, nor too long. The controls respond well and the backgrounds are spacious and well-designed.
However, sometimes it is difficult to locate where a mission is, or where you have to go. Sometimes the mini-map at the bottom doesn't help, it leads you off in some other direction where you lose all your life and some saved progress.
Ty is a good game to play if you are bored or have no other game at hand, so if you have a couple dollars, you may want to try this game out.
