Good

Not the worst game.

I have to say this game starts slow and by slow I mean 2-3hrs. then it really starts opening up. Anyone who plays the game for an hour or less really don't need to post a review of the game and bad mouth it. The voice acting is bad and the game is very glitchy at times. Some of the dungeons in the game have enemies that swarm you in a hallway or something and it's hard to see whats really going on around you. But this game has LOTS that I like weapon and armor upgrades are super easy to do. Upgrading your main guy is too you often can't wait to gain a level to upgrade your skills. Combat is just okay. Anyone who wants to be anything other than a warrior will have some trouble in the begining. Archery is best to tag from a distance untill the swarm of enemies reach you. But even as a warrior you have choices like a 1 hand weapon and shield or 2 hand weapons or 2 one handers all with blount or slash choice. The magic is the most complex thing in the game but if mastered you deal some real damage heal yourself and alot in between that can really aid you along the way. So give this game a try but only if you can give it a fair shake. I haven't played many RPG type games that didn't get better once I got into them a while.

Great game...for the right person

My initial view of the game was that it was gonna be an awesome game. Opening movie was great. After this point, it took a dive. Character creation was extensive...to a point. You could customize pretty much every aspect of your character from height, muscle build, and even the curl of the lips. The draw back was how limited the changes were. This was where it got even worse. Story line was horrible. Controls were worse due to the camera acting like it was on a merry-go-round on the default camera sensitivity.

I will give it two positives though. The combat system was very in depth with the different trees, even though you needed spellbooks to start training in the other talents. And there is the equipment modification that was highly in depth with breaking other items down to modify your weapons and armor to make them better.

Its not a bad game for the right person. Its just not for me.
