I only played it for a day but it was too painful to continue. After playing Dragon Age II and then this. It never had a chance. The voice system, cut movies, character movement, and map design looked all last generation. After one sit down you'll understand. Maybe if you stay with it like other players did it gets better, but right out of the box it's nothing special. Best use- Use this game as a coaster for your 711 Big Gulp for when you put in 10 hours in Dragon Age II.
If your looking for a stimulating game go else where. This has to be the slowest moving game I've ever played. They seemed like they where tring to mock elder scrolls but failed! The combat mech are horrible and the quests dont give you much to go on.You find yourself roaming around more then anything. The graphics are VERY chopppy and tweeky, Ive fell thru the world more then once. You can run towards a line in the mountains and slowly walk up the side and boom you fall thru the ground into a new area (not always a cool thing). Now once you get going a bit the game does open up a bit once your able to kill some stuff but its hard to keep interest untill then.I still havent figured out the magic system after playing for 2 days. All in all its just a very bad mock of elder scrolls....mostly the whole game seems like a cheep copy.Ill be sending it back as soon as a new one shows in the mail.
The game is really not as bad as everyone seems to review it. Its clunky the graphics are not the very best. I do hate the way conversations are with the weird character movements. The horse riding is a bit chaotic but interesting. But with more polish this could be a really fantastic game. Maybe by Two worlds III they will get it right, it is is much better than the first. If you love RPG's this is a decent one to pass the time with.
