Twisted Metal for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

This game was a waste of time and a headache to play. If you have played 1 and 2 this is nothing of the sort and is horribly done in comparison. This game took me only about 6 hours to complete, 4.5 of those hours were painstaking and pointless. This game has one of the shortest story lines and most of the trophies are online, witch you cannot play unless you have a code. I rate this game a 2 our of generosity.

Ive played almost every single TM. From the original to the mediocre titles (3-4) to the superb TM:B and even to the surprisingly good Head-on. This one of the bunch has to be the most cumbersome of all. Graphics was good, the controls were solid, the FMV were actually quite excellent. The actuall deathmatch battles were pretty good. The racing battles....and the safe-zone modes were frustrating to say the least. I was stuck on one level for a good3-4 hrs just trying to survive. The other thing i did not find amusing and just plain confusing was the amount of powerups your enemies carry. I was in the thrills and spills map trying to find decednt powerups just to be blown to bits while the grace period timer went off. out off all this one was the most dissapointing let down out of all the Twisted Metals. Good thing I rented on Gamefly.
