Twisted Metal Gone Bad...

I used to be a be fan of Twisted Metal Games, far back as the very first Twisted Metal for the Playstation One.
I was extremely Disapointed with the Newest Twisted Metal game for the PS3.
The "Twisted" part of the game took a turn for the worse in this game. In the single player story mode, you play as Sweet tooth. Sweet tooth being an original character of the franchise, its expected to see him inside the game, but as soon as you start the game up you get a little storyline to go with it. Aparrently you play in the Twisted Metal Contest, because your a Mass Murdered and you want to kill that special someone.....uhg,
(huge turnoff).
Beyond that, Your also limited in the amount of cars and car styles, that have made previous Twisted Metal games fun.
The World Maps have lots of Destructables. Lots of the normal houses can be driven right through them as if they were made of Cardboard, and there are alot more smaller objects to destroy as well. With the occasional Building to enter and drive around in. However they didnt have any BIG explosive areas or Directives we were so Fond of in TM2. Overall i was disapointed with the destrubles....there was no creativity.
I felt like all the game creators did was make it "Pretty looking" and sacrificed gameplay for it.
My overall reveiw would be something like this....
scale of 1 to 10, 10 being Great, 1 being Horrible.
Graphics 8
Carnage 10
Controls 2
Fun 1
Gameplay 1
Story 1
Destructables 1
Online Play 10$-nuff said
Disapointment 10
Difficulty 5
They game company really went in the wrong direction. As a Fan and a collecter of Twisted Metal games, im sorry to say that i will no longer be buying Twisted Metal Franchise anymore.
