Turok for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I have CoD4 and this game is not quite as polished, but the graphics are awesome and the sound is too. One thing that is better about Turok is the Jungle setting feels real and the dinos fighting the human enemies doesn't get old.

I switch all my games so the back triggers fire so that didn't really bother me (got used to Halo 3 for 360). I thought the control layout was intuitive (took about one minute to learn). The saves are kinda far apart but it's never more than 10 minutes of playing and it does force you to actually play like you are scared of dying instead of just running ahead without a care.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet, but if its on par with the single player then I will be very happy. The game is good enough to Gamefly and a lot of people will probably end up buying it.

2 months ago, I never had a serious taste for shooter games. This game changed my mind a little. The violence is so intense and so real. It looks like a velociraptor is about to pounce on you and tear the liver out of you(Okay. Don't think about what I said in that last sentence.)! The graphics are so real-looking and the variety of weapons were phenomenal, and each one of them had its own unique way of firing off. The only thing that I didn't find appealing is that the whole dinosaur setting is a little overrated. The game is too much like something in a Jurassic Park movie. Other than that, the game was frickin' awesome.
