Terribly Disappointing

When I first heard about this game, i got quite excited, as i always enjoy these What If situations. The prospect of defending the U.S. has always been a novel idea. I have a What If of my own to present.
What If the developers actually bothered to check what they had just made before they shipped the game?
This is one of the biggest disappointments in the past year for me. The graphics look like they were from an OK PS2 game. For the models, some of the germans were kinda cool, but they looked like rip-offs from Killzone, with glowing orange eyes.
If you've played multiple WW2 shooters before, then you'll notice the gun models, which are obviously supposed to be updates of their past designs, such as the MP50 or Gewehr 47, look exactly the same as the old guns. The developers didn't even bother trying to be original.
The AI is some of the worst i've ever seen. You can often just stand there and just pick off your enemies one by one, or even just run up to them and melee them. The only tactic they seem to use is occasionally taking cover, and that's it. Multiple times they even killed themselves with their own grenades.
As for story, read the game description. There's your story. I was at least hoping to see a timeline or something explaining the events leading up to the attack on the U.S. As for the character you play, well, he is apparently your everyman construction worker who has more ability than the whole U.S. army combined.
This game would have been decent 7 or 8 years ago, when this sort of thing was not uncommon, but we're in the next-gen age, this sort of game is simply unacceptable.
