Perfect for Renting

I think this game is a great Renting game. It has a good story, some fun Free-running sections (though it takes some getting used to) and a good combat system. It is also rather short, but since this game is the prequel to the movie it is understandably so. The Light Cycle bits actually really disappointed me, I was hoping for it to be like the original tron where the point is to run your enemy into either your jet walls or the real walls. However in this game you'll simply be using them as a way to get from A to B, with no way of knowing what side of the road to be on until you've already fallen off a cliff. I had more fun with the slow, difficult to steer tank sections than Light Cycles.
In conclusion: fun game, short enough to beat in one day, Light Cycles suck, rent it, don't buy it.

Be prepared to see that screen frequently. It means, you died. I have spent half as much time on that screen as I have playing the game. Now I understand that it's a new game and I am 'unfamiliar' with the controls but this is NOT my first rodeo. With a gamerscore of 57,635, you could say that I play quite a bit of video games. With that being said, its something to do with the game play.

The movement is extremely sensitive, as well as the camera angles. Any good gamer will know that if "camera angles" is listed as a problem, it's a serious problem. While you are able to control the camera freely, it requires you to be able to manually adjust while free running. Granted it does not sound hard to do but while in the middle of running up something to get to a platform BEHIND you, requires some... finesse. At times you will need to be free running quite a bit. If the camera angle isn't right, you might just not see where it is you need to go next. And fall to your death. Excuse me... your derezzelution followed by a 'loading system back up' and starting at your last checkpoint.

While free running you will have to execute multiple moves at once. Not complicated to do. However, the analog stick movement required to aim whilst in your current move is rather tricky. Be sure to aim DIRECTLY at things or you will either miss and fall to your death, overshoot and fall or simply go the completely wrong direction. This being said of course that your able to master the camera angle while tapping A and holding down RT and aiming exactly where you need to go.

Combat is a button masher but those can be fun. Casual can be hard if faced against MULTIPLE attackers. Accidents do occur as far as trying to execute simple manuevers. Story is just fine and intriguing as far as wanting to know a lil bit more of the TRON story. If you have a hard time in Assassin's Creed games, this might not be for you. Game is meh, ok story and nice to have the real actors voices.

End of line...

Tron:Evolution is a fun game combat nice the graphics pretty good...but the story line can sometimes be a pain its always tricky from getting point A to point B through out the Chapters.Multiplayer is pretty fun i like all the upgrades for your identity disc and light cycles light tanks all of those things so i give it a 7.
