this game has exceeded the first by far. not only are the controls far more easier but the plot was different. I for one expected the game to be the same as the Wii version of "New Blood" however this was not the case.

you no longer need to "rub" the fixture onto the open wound.

you don't have to go against insane odds or go against the same form of GUILT until your ears turn blue.

as soon as you think it is over, ok I am done... not yet. 4 new threats of GUILT emerge from the most unlikely source.

In this game, Dr. Stiles and Nurse Angie are back. you start off in Africa and meet a new but promising doctor. you need to go back however (US) and offer for him to join you. there you find out someone is doing what Adam failed to do. next thing you know a team of new doctors all armed with new powers of the "healing touch" emerge, more alliances are made and Caduceus is considered un-needed.

Then something bad happens, you then discover that what Dr. Hoffman said was true. the burden is great and you do not have the ability to use the healing touch.

From bullet wounds to GUILT or even PGS (Post-GUILT Syndrome) you will be playing for hours.

then when you are finished, there is more. extra surgeries for those who still wanted to slice people open and stop biological terror.

it took me three days to finish the game and for you Trauma Center fans, you will enjoy this game. if you are hesitant on buying it, rent it. it deserves that at least.

Going Under the Knife has never been this fun!

Under the Knife 2 is the sequel to the popular Trauma Center : Under the Knife. The original acclaimed for it's original use of the touch screen and stylus, this game is no exception.

You play as general surgeon Derek Stiles, a world-renowned surgeon known for eradicating GUILT, a powerful, "unbeatable" plague. Despite the new fame, the classic characters from the first won't be gone. Derek has joined Caduceus, so employees like Tyler play a much more prominent role.

With GUILT gone, it may seem that there's really not much potential to expand the game on. But, after several "normal" operations, previous GUILT patients begin exhibiting strange symptoms. After this, the game begins throwing new, more challenging diseases at you.

This game is absolutely worth the rent. With better graphics, new characters, more diseases.. well, it's hard not to go wrong.

I couldn't figure out if I was reading a comic book or playing a game. There was so much dialog in this game it took forever to get to the actual operations, and even then, the operations were so few and far between that the game wasn't even fun to play. The only reason I gave it as many stars as I did is because I love games where you have to operate, and the operations were kind of fun. With all that said, I don't think I would buy this game if it was on sale for 99 cents. It's a great game if what you are looking to do is read instead of play though. It might have been a good game if there were ten times as many operations and 1/100 of the dialog. Other than that......WORST GAME EVER!!!!!! and I've played some stinky games in my time.
