I loved the gameplay. Performing fast, precise surgeries was a blast. Part shooter, part simulation, but ultimately unique, this game shows just how much promise the Wii has.
Unfortunately, much of the game's previous incarnation as a DS game remains all-too-evident. There was way too much dialogue (in text, no voice acting), and the story was fun but ridiculous. I would much rather have spent more time focusing on the "operations" than all that other stuff.
I also felt that after a point, the levels began to get repetitive. Same creature types, same strategy, same situation. The final stages in levels 5 and 6 were great, but much up to that point was just rehashing enemies and procedures from earlier levels.
However, this game does make me very excited for the kinds of games that have yet to be released for the system. If the type of gameplay in this game appears again, we're all in for a real treat.

This game is one of the best along with Zelda right now. There is just one problem, the game is identical to the nintendo DS one, characters, even dialogue are EXACTLY the same. This made me glad I didnt get that far into the DS one. I think the Wii is going to make games like this on the DS absolete. I would much rather play this on the Wii because of the graphics and you dont have to touch the tool you need to use, all you do is rotate the nunchuck joystick.
I have played this for about 5 days straight and i have to admit that it is very addicting but there is too much of the same story here and does get old after a while. shows how different motions can be used with the wii remote and is a great game to get the feel for it.
This game has great visuals and can be very challenging.
