Well, I gotta say, I LOVE this game. The idea that you can perform surgery right in the comfort of your own house is really neat. I was very impressed with the graphics. It didn't look too real, (Which is good because some of that stuff can be gross...) But it was good enough to be able to tell where everything is.
It was really cool to be able to use such a huge variety of tools like the scalpel or the defibrillator (CLEAR!) The controls for each tool felt very real and believable. Good fun.
The voice acting was minimal, but it came in clear and audible. Very well done.
The story line was great. You're a new doctor who has to face the new bio terrorism known as G.U.I.L.T. which takes the game away from being just a basic "Cure the patient" game.
You often get to know a lot about your patients by talking to them. This gives the game more depth and enjoyability.
Each mission brought about it's own difficulties. Some surgeries were more difficult than others, but all are doable. No mission was the same so it was never monotonous. There is an alternate mission from time to time that gives a special twist. One mission was in a car where the patient was pinned after a crash. You only had the flash of a camera to quickly memorize the area before the screen went dark again. You had to continue the operation by what you remembered.
All in all, a great game. I had it before and beat it once but my brother broke the game so I'm buying it again. That's how good it is.
I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes surgery stuff.
