Written and produced by the man who created The Professional and La Femme Nikita, 2002's The Transporter became a surprise worldwide hit. Former special forces op Frank Martin (Jason Statham), the mercenary transporter-for-hire, returns in this sequel, which now finds him living in Miami. Willing to move anything, human or otherwise, Martin, as a favor to a friend, has taken a job driving for the rich Billings family. The hardened warrior has developed a surprising friendship with the Billings' son Jack. When the six-year-old boy is kidnapped, Martin relies on his training to get him back. He'll also have to stop the kidnapper's plot to release a deadly virus, one that kills on contact.
