I would have given this a 9-9.5 but it was just a little too short for me. My guess is that it was treated like Call of Duty, make the single player game short and online very content laden and longer or more expanded. I am not an online gamer so the short play time hurt the rating, otherwise a really great game and a definite for fans of Transformers from any generation. They really hit this one out of the park for variety of characters and intuitive game play. I could have played it on hard and made the enjoyment last but I did not feel like playing it again so soon and I want Borderlands 2 when it comes out so I returned it. Do not pass this up if you like transformers and an FPS with some fun action and variety.

Ive only had this game for a day or two and was let down in more ways then one when I started playing the game. First thing I did was enter the story mode expecting to explore Cybetron's demise with two friends. I was quickly dissapointed founding out that feature has been canceled. Exiting the first dissapointment I decided there's no way they could have tampered with escalation mode. Again, I was let down. Instead of multiple maps with tens of characters to choose from, there are now four maps total and 4 pre-selected characters for each. I feel the focus of this game rest to heavily on the multiplayer (which only has about four options) and not enough on every thing else. I cant help wondering if this game was actually made second.
loved the campaign but the online multiplayer was lacking in depth. Don't get me wrong it was great fun though left A lot to be desired. the multiplayer is what can make or break that $60 price point. Otherwise great game worth the rent.
