Maybe it's just me, maybe I had too high of hopes for this game but it severely let me down. I'm not a HARDCORE fan of Transformers but I am a fan none the less. It bothers me that it's Bungie type hip fire engine as well as the complex yet simple controls of the game. Not to mention, I was very much looking forward to using a Dinobot but I'm not about to spend $10 just to use them and possibly get even more diappointed.
Great game. Relatively short (1 weekend of intense play on hard) but very fun. Gameplay varied and entertaining, story pretty good. But OMG you get to play all the favorites! This remains the ONLY good transformers series to play. Multiplayer is meh, replay value is so-so.

I loved War for Cybertron, and this sequel completely delivered as well. They streamlined the campaign by not letting you select a character. This was fine to me. The missions are full of epic moments, from the awakening of Metroplex to Grimlocks first transformation. The gameplay was solid with no control issues. Each character felt different, so it kept the missions fresh. And not many games get this praise from me, but the soundtrack was rather good. It fit each mood really well. And not to spoil anything, but the last chapter was almost too epic.
I didn't try the multiplayer, but I'm sure it was good, as I enjoyed the first game's MP. Overall this game was amazing.
