It was fun to play, but to me, almost impossible to get anywhere.

i played the first level and was just tearin' it up on the wave. i managed to do a few tricks and land them and i was having fun...then i looked at my score....about 147 points. i looked at the time left to complete the level...2 mins. how am i going to get to 10,000 points in less than 2 mins.

i kept at it and finally discovered that i could get in the curl, or barrel as they called it, and the points just came rolling in. but i kept getting out in front of it. then i found that i could slow myself down. then i was able to stay in the curl and collect all the points i needed and then try to complete the other 3 or 4 objectives.

the good news is that you just start the level over again and all the objectives you already did stay completed while you try to finish the others. but after about 30 mins, i finished the first level.

after 30 mins on the second level, i gave up. i needed to get 15,000 points and 'scare' 5 seagulls off the wave.

the graphics were really good for a surfing game. but surfing the same beach over and over and for a time limit was tiresome. would have been nice to just free surf. maybe there is a way, but i couldn't find it.

But i agree with the other reviews, it is the best surfing game i have ever played as far as graphics and surfing realism. the last surfing game i even remember playing was T&C Surf!! i know i have played others since but they didn't stick out in my memory bank.
