Trace Memory for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

This game is very similar to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, but inferior in every aspect. It's a mildly entertaining adventure game, and might have been great if its developers had spent a little more time with it.

The story starts out slow, and then suddenly ends just when it's starting to get interesting. The 3D world that you walk around only serves to make it longer and more tedious to walk from place to place. Some of the puzzles are interesting, but a few are stunningly ill-conceived. The questions at the end of each chapter seem pointlessly tacked on, and add nothing to the game. And, as I mentioned before, it's so short that it ends just when it feels like it's getting started.

Unless you just can't get enough adventure games, play Phoenix Wright instead.

Great storyline, really gets you into it- but the game is incredibly short, the play control is finicky, and pretty frequently you hit dead ends about what to do next besides poke random objects until something happens- you arn't really given much direction. The solutions were clever in a few of them, though. A good rental game, overall.
