You may say that.. Yes this game and Katamari Damacy use the same formula of starting out small and growing up huge by sucking up things into your mass.
If you are a fan of Katamari Damacy then Tornado Outbreak will feel very familiar to you and should be worth a play. You may be thrown off by the way the game looks since the graphics makes it looks like a kids game.
Although with 10 total stages with it branching into 3 zones each minus the first 2 stages you can beat this game real quick.
I say only rent this if you want a good chuckle or quick game to play while waiting for another game.
If you are renting this game as a Trophy Collector / Completist : then be aware getting 100% is not as fast/quick as you think.. you will have to work for it.
Is a good game I admit but should give alittle more time for you to gather up strength to really get the job done within each board and give the player the choice if they want to do a time limit or not.

Ok, I admit. Who was surprised when it turned out the dude you were helping was evil? Even so, this is a great game. Buy it? No. It is a very fast game for older players (If you are buying this for someone younger than 12, go for it).
Despite this, from my point of view, it is great for all ages. Even I got stuck on some parts, so it isn't TOO easy. And if you do get stuck, you can always go to two player mode (which is actually very fun)!
The plot line was also original and fun (as well as a few really good jokes actually).
Like I said. Don't buy it unless you think the person that is getting this is a tad slow when it comes to finishing games. Rent? Yah. No arguments from me.
