Weak

Im frustrated!

This is a good game overall. The only thing that gets me is the fact that your not able to skip though the death sequence. Nobody likes to die in a game. In this game you die alot, and it can become very frustrating.

After finishing the single player campaign just recently, I figure I have enough data to weigh in on the latest game from Silicon Knights. Rather than bore everyone with specifics, I'm going to make a list of Pros and Cons:

Pros:
Solid graphics and Smooth gameplay engine
Interesting storyline
Great voice talent
Unique characters, enemies, and items (highly customizable)

Cons:
Limited control of player camera
Unusual controller layout
Relatively short campaign (about 10 hours)

I think the most appealing part of this game is the online co-operative play option, which is missing in many of the premiere RPG-type games on the 360 console. However, this title does have some drawbacks that take away from a high rating: the unusual control scheme does take some time to get used to, and it doesn't always work as intended... targeting specific enemies in a crowd is very difficult, and sometimes impossible. The camera control is also fairly limited.

I was also surprised to find out that while the levels are fairly large, there are only five of them, leaving me with the "unresolved" feeling when I completed the campaign... obviously Silicon Knights decided to leave room for a sequel.

All in all, this is a good entry into the large field of hybrid RPGs, and that's how I rated it. It's a worthwhile rental for sure, but I would recommend trying it out before buying it.
