I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of THPS 3 or 4. I had almost given up on the series, but I'm glad I gave this game a chance, because it rocks!
I have to say the main draw of the game comes from the story. I cant give away any spoilers, but trust me it's good. Also the create a skater feature has been revamped and offers many more options than the previous games.
There are many more tricks and ways to link them into a combo now, so massive scores are possible, and trust me you'll need it for the goal scores.
Graphics haven't changed that much, but sometimes change can be bad, so no big deal. They were good before and they're still good.
Controls are super responsive as usual.
The only part of the game i wasn't impressed with was the low replay value. Once I beat the game once, there wasn't much reason to go back and unlock anything.
All in all, this is a very good title that is worth a rent.
