Good

Good game, but couldn't keep my attention

I remember playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater on my original Playstation for hours and hours at a time. I couldn't stop playing until I beat the whole thing. This version, is a stellar addition to the Hawk franchise with amazing graphics and a fun "Career Mode" where you are to skate your way up the ranks and onto Tony Hawk's new skate team "Project 8" which will consist of the top 8 skaters he can recruit. However, this game got very old very quick to me and I am already returning it after only a day. It's a fun game, and if you're a die hard skate fan, which I am not, you will probably play it for a lot longer than me. I am using Gamefly as a way to decide what games I would like to purchase, and we'll just say, I will not be picking up a copy of Tony Hawk Project 8.

7 out of 10.

dude, this is the sickest TH ever, the graphics are off the hook, and i'm not even in HD. the "stick the trick" feature is the tightest thing i've seen. only played it for a hour or so. but i'm going to have to purchase this one for sure. any long time TH player will enjoy.

SKATE AND DESTROY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have played every single game in this franchise and I have been very excited about the release of this game. When I got the game I immediately noticed that this game is beautiful extremely beautiful and the animations are very smooth. The game play is a little more realistic and plays like every other game in the series(that is not a bad thing). I enjoyed playing this game very much I really liked the new mode where you go into slow-mo and maneuver your feet to move the board in the air. The only thing I have to say that I don't like is that the create a skater is not as in depth as is has been the past. But other than that I highly recommend this game for people who have never played a Tony Hawk game as well veterans in the series.
