Let me start by saying that the game is pretty cool. THe graphics are amazing, and so is the presentation. If your a tony hawk fan this game is for you. It's the same old tony hawk gameplay as everyone is used to. And it's done great as usual. The new nail the trick is completely addicting, and a great innovation. All in all it's a great rental and even a good buy.
game it til it dies

I have to agree with Sparxxx, your either a hardcore skater or your not with scoring this game.Honestly its just like every other Tony Hawk game, besides the graphics and the moves. All in all its a good game like all the other T.H games befor it where you cant put the control down because of the gosls that take countless times to accomplish.

Id buy it if the price went down, but its not worth 47.99 maybe $20? idk.. its one of those games you like but dont love, and dont want to spend that much money on. Fun, countless hours of game play and really addictive.(well until you beat the game and have nothing alse to do)

I remember playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater on my original Playstation for hours and hours at a time. I couldn't stop playing until I beat the whole thing. This version, is a stellar addition to the Hawk franchise with amazing graphics and a fun "Career Mode" where you are to skate your way up the ranks and onto Tony Hawk's new skate team "Project 8" which will consist of the top 8 skaters he can recruit. However, this game got very old very quick to me and I am already returning it after only a day. It's a fun game, and if you're a die hard skate fan, which I am not, you will probably play it for a lot longer than me. I am using Gamefly as a way to decide what games I would like to purchase, and we'll just say, I will not be picking up a copy of Tony Hawk Project 8.

7 out of 10.
