Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

I was very surprised with what this game brought to the table. It was definitely pretty fun for the first hour or so. Once you learn the controls however, and start winning races…that’s the game. That’s it. Nothing ever changes. You just race until you get gold (or bronze or silver if you aren’t picky about gold on every board) and then go to the next level. I don’t have too much else to say about this game. I am sure you can all picture a downhill version of the last Tony Hawk game you played. That’s all this is. So, my suggestion is: Only rent this game if you are one of those people who is obsessed with Hawk games. You know, those guys that would rack up a million points in one round on t-Hawk 1 and 2? Those guys will enjoy and get the most out of this game. Everyone else, if you want to race, rent a car racing game or get SSX, this game is a lemon.
