Well, it plays exactly like Uncharted meets Arkham City, so basically it's Uncharted 3. Only, without the ridiculous level of polish of those two games.
Don't get me wrong, the effort is apparent, and almost everything is done well. The collectibles are cleverly hidden to encourage exploration, the difficulty level is moderate (maybe a little too low), and the game is fun. However, Uncharted had the added benefit of the best voice cast ever assembled for a game, and Arkham City had the bleeping Batman. The new Lara is not on that level, at least not yet.
Definitely worth a play if you are a fan of Uncharted or Rocksteady's Batman games, as it is nearly identical.

Great game! Multiplayer is really weak with bad match making and not many people playing, but the single player campaign was awesome!
This is the best 3rd person action-adventure game I've played on PS3. The story was great, with top notch voice acting that never takes away from the game.
Controlling Lara Croft in her environment and swinging and climbing over buildings and zip lines is very satisfying. The gunplay in this game is very fun and the shotgun is extremely brutal.
I was never a fan of the old Tomb Raiders but this game completely revitalized Lara Croft! Can't wait to check out the next game featuring Lara especially if its made by the same folks. This game would be a 10 if the multiplayer was more entertaining.

This game pulls you in and keeps you until the very end. The characters are wonderful (especially Lara). The island is a remarkable setting. The level layouts and gameplay take from other popular games like uncharted and assassin's creed, but in a way where that it takes a new kind of ownership of the style. Right before the credits roll on this game, the developers wrote a message that says something like "Thank you for taking the time to play this! We put all we could into this game to make it the best game possible. We hope you enjoyed it!"
As I read it, I believed them. This game was truly someone's masterpiece. I recommend it to anyone who plays videogames!
