I loved this game. It's got a little bit of everything in it. The graphics are great, the story is good (though I did not finish it yet), but most importantly, the gameplay is amazing. I am a huge fan of the God of War series because not only is the story great and the character bad@$$, it is also very fun to play. Well, Tomb Raider is no hack and slash game like God of War, but it is definitely fun to play. It is thrilling and cool, the controls are intuitive, and the setting of the game is awesome. Highly recommend it. On my list game ratings, it is not quite as good as Last of Us or God of War (both my all-time favorite games), but it is on par with Bioshock: Infinite and Infamous.
This game is the greatest Tomb raider entry ever created. The upgrade element in this game is awesome. The Younger Lara Croft is beautifully designed and gameplay flows EXTREMELY well. The storyline is a breath of fresh air for the Tomb Raider titles. The side missions of tomb explorations still keep the classic tomb raider feel. The only reason why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is because there were a couple "mini-games" that were EXTREMELY hard to control that often resulted in me getting pierced through my neck with a tree branch. Speaking of, the death scenes make the survival aspect even more realistic. This is a MUST-PLAY for long time fans of the series or new players of Tomb Raider.
This game was very entertaining. I loved the weapon upgrade system. The graphics were great, controls were easy to use, and the story line kept me engaged the whole time. I spent many of late nights playing this game as I didn't want to put down the controller and go to bed.
