Best Game of the Year

This game was one the best that I have played in the last couple years.

The movement controls and equipment options were far better then Assassins Creed games (which I loved).

The story line was great and kept me interested in solving the mystery of the island the whole way.

The tomb puzzles were the perfect balance of challenging.

A Must Play

I wasn't allowed to play the Tomb Raider games as a child, but I was excited when the series got a re-vamp for the PS3, and eventually the PS4. Whenever series get re-vamps like this, it's hard to gauge whether or not your inexperience with the original story line will alter your enjoyment of the game. I think that it's great for those who are familiar with the story line, but it's not pivotal in playing. You can pick up the controller, with no prior knowledge to the TR series, begin the game, and everything comes together. No confusion, no worm holes, or anything like that. I played this on PS3, so I couldn't tell you what the graphics for the PS4 console was like. I can tell you that the PS3 graphics are STILL freaking amazing. You won't be disappointed. It feels like you're walking through a movie, taking on the challenges yourself. The actual game play is very smooth, and I haven't experienced any glitching. The story line is thick, with twists & character development. The gameplay is flawless. And it's all around just a great-game. I definitely recommend it, to regular-gamers & beginners alike.
