Although this is a revision of the franchise, and the storyline tells us the story of how Croft became the women we know, this game marks a GREAT return for a legendary series who is responsible for bringing many video gamers into the community.
First off, the graphics are good and I hardly lost FPS, even in heavy rain moments. Although the character textures are slightly outdated, the movement/physics work well with the environment.
The gameplay will give you nostalgia, especially with the environmental puzzles that Croft has to solve. Speaking of the environment, it is beautiful and provides a lot of depth, which you will end up wanting to explore.
The downside for the game is the multiplayer. It is playable, but does not offer anything revolutionary or making you want to play more. It is not a bad experience, but once you complete the storyline, it has enough material to keep you interested for a week or two.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game. I was not as big a fan of the Tomb Raider games as a lot of people were, but for those who are, you will be EXTREMELY pleased with this game and will be itching for the developers to come out with a sequel.
